So if you are looking to plan for Disney parks you should see this guide to help navigate your trip. There will be lots of ride closures in all 4 Disney parks, and most of them are expected to open before the spring break of 2024. 

Magic Kingdom Ride Closures

1. Splash Mountain: You will be disappointed if you are looking to take the Splash Mountain ride this year, the ride was permanently closed, and transformed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, it will be open in summer 2024.
2. Country Bear Jamboree: Country Bear Jamboree is being transformed into Country Bear Musical Jamboree, It is expected to reopen in the summer of this year (2024) .
3. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: It is opening in summer 2024.

Hollywood Studios Ride closures

1. Rock Around the Shop: This ride is also closed for maintenance,  without any opening date announced
2. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith: It’s closed for refurbishment and the reopening date is not announced yet.

Animal Kingdom Ride closures

1. Kali River Rapids: This is also closed for refurbishment from  January 8th, 2024, it will be open again on March 16th, 2024.
2. Zootopia: A new also has been created for the Tree of Life Theater, Zootopia will be replaced with “It’s Tough to be a Bug”
3. Some sections of the park will be completely replaced such as Dino Land USA, Movies Encanto, and Indiana Jones will replace it.
4. Primeval Whirl: This ride is permanently closed form the park.

Epcot Ride closures

Luckily in Epcot, there are no ride closures, but you will see some changes in a few rides such as:

1. Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow
2. Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana
3. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, a 4D ride

Is Cinderella Castle open?

Cinderella Castle is the main attraction in Magic Kingdom, it is popular among people of all ages, and the good news is that the castle is not under refurbishment and is open for visitors, people can go inside and visit the castle, and restaurant, Cinderella’s Royal Table. 

Are they still doing Magic Kingdom’s Enchantment Fireworks Show?

Disney’s enchantment show is the biggest attraction in Magic Kingdom, people wait until the end of the day to see the show, but Disney Food Blog said that the last performance of Enchantment was 2nd April 2023, and from 3rd April a new show Happily Ever After was started.

Is Tiana’s Bayou Adventure open?
