But it’s not as big as New York, so you may not feel as overwhelmed, especially if you’re not used to big cities or you don’t know how to navigate big cities.
It is a major city in the US. San Francisco can be a great trip, especially for people who are into organized events and organized trips because San Francisco has so many side trips that you can do, You can stay in the city and explore San Francisco. You can also go across to Oakland and the Bay Area.
If you want to go over to Sonoma and Napa, wine country and redwoods are also nearby, Yosemite is also not far away, you can take a bus and travel there. Another great thing about San Francisco is there are a ton of free events. The city puts on so many free events that you can go to. And so if you’re afraid of being alone or if you wanna meet up with new people, or explore the city, but you don’t wanna be alone and isolated, San Francisco’s a great place.
Also visit the SF MOMA, Asian Art Museum, the de Young, and the California Academy of Sciences. Spend time at Golden Gate Park, it’s lovely!

Some of my favorite places to go and things to do in Greenville are the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Stop and check out the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. It is so cute, you can sit outside and enjoy it.
You can also go to Gather Greenville, It’s a food hall, and you can just come and relax, and hang out. It’s a great place to meet people as a solo traveler.

Canyonlands National Park, more specifically is going to be Mesa Arch, is a beautiful place, it’s an amazing sunrise photo spot for all the photographers out there, but just be aware it’s a very heavily trafficked spot, it’s only a half-mile hike so there will be tons and tons of people, so get there a little bit early if you plan to see the sunrise or the sunset, this place lights up orange, it’s such a beautiful and cool arch looking over all the canyons.
You can drive through Canyonlands, my favorite spot there is Mesa Arch for shooting, but driving around there are tons of roadside pull-offs to take some photos.
Shortly after sunrise, you can go to Dead Horse State Park, it is the perfect time to visit there because you will still see the beautiful colors and the pleasant weather.
The place looks like a miniature version of the Grand Canyon, it’s such a beautiful spot there’s not any hiking so you can just drive up and you’re there, it is a super tourist-friendly place. There are also Potash ponds in the background.
Dead Horse State Park is another beautiful place to visit, there is a little spot called Gilberto, it is an amazing kind of hole-in-the-wall Mexican spot. Sand Dune Arch is a pretty short and easy hike it’s under a mile and super accessible for all fitness levels.
